We all have loaded non-numeric (Text, Date & Smartlist, etc..) using the Data Management (FDMEE cloud). I thought I will reiterate the common mistakes done while loading the All data types data.
- Check All
Data Type (for Delimited or Multi Column)– under File Type in Import
Format is selected.
The first step to verify the Import Format is set to Multi Column -All Data Type or Delimeted- All Data Type as Numeric data will not load Date format data.
In this screenshot, i am loading the Date to the member OCX_Purchase Date
- Load method Under Target Options in Data load rule should be “All data types with security” or “All data types with auto-increment of line item”
Under
Data load rule -> Target Options
Once you have the rules created and the data load mappings are created, make sure the All data types with security or “All data types with auto-increment of line item” is selected as required
- Date
format for date data should be as needed
Make
sure the “Attribute Dimension Date” under Application Settings is as
needed under Application Settings -> Other Options
- Last Make sure the data that is getting loaded is in the needed format
Data Management showed that all the data is loaded and no issues, with all the fishes, validate successfully. But no data was visible in the application
The issue is Date format supposed to be is MM-dd-yyyy but the format in the data getting loaded MM/dd/yyyy. Once the format is corrected was able to see the data in the application.
Happy days on the cloud!!
